- Wash the Lemons: Scrub lemons thoroughly to remove any dirt or residues, especially if non-organic.
- Peel Carefully: Use a peeler or knife to remove the yellow zest, avoiding the bitter white pith.
- Boil Water: Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Infuse Peels: Add lemon peels to the boiling water, reduce heat, and simmer for 10–15 minutes to release their compounds.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the tea into a cup or jug. Add honey or cinnamon for taste, if desired. Enjoy warm or chilled.
